General Rules
Trades
Trades will be done as you deem necassary. The trading deadline is July 31 of each season. Any trades after this date means each player must go through waivers.....a risky move. As a GM you are able to trade players along with Draft Picks, Cash, and Incentive Ponts. In order for a trade to be completed both teams must send an email to the commishioner confirming the trade. The trade will only go through if both GM's send in a comfirmation email, because we will have no idea if both teams agreed to the trade. Each transaction will be reflected at the next sim.
Newbie Trading Rule
All new GM's of the league, have a trading rule they must follow for the first 3 trades of their career here at MML. when submitting a trade acknowledgment to the commish, the new GM must give a reason as to why they went through with this trade.
Overturning a Trade Rule
If a trade has happened between 2 or more GM's that you feel was either one sided or one team is purposley trading their good players to one team, then you may apply to have this trade overturned. In the event you would liek to overturn a trade, you must send an email to the commish stating WHY this trade should not go through. You also must prove that this trade was one of the above reasons. This proposal must be "cc'ed" to 3 other GM's, who agree with your reasoning, they must reply to the commish that they are in on the overturn. You or anyone else involved in the "cc" can not be in the same division as the GM you felt "took advantage" of the other GM.
Voting
All voting is done by 51% vote. Each Owner recieves One vote.
Winter Ball
NEW: You can send up to three players to winterball each year. All players who's overall rating is below 85 can be send to Winterball. If you send someone not eligible, they will automatically get hurt. If you send a player to Winterball (you don't have to send anyone) you get two plus pushes on their edit player. If you don't know what I am talking about, start a new game, scout a player with commish mode on, then press the + button over on the right. If a player goes to Winterball, they have a 5% chance to get injured (for 250 days) and a 5% chance that they get worse. If a player gets worse he gets two minus pushes. I will put 100 numbers in a hat and if I pull out the number 1-5, the player was injured. If the numbers 6-10 get picked, the player gets worse.
Simulations
Simulations will take place based on a schedule that's on the Main Page. Any roster changes are due the before the deadline that's on the page. Most of the time a sim will be 2 weeks at a time, this is also on the main page. After the All-star Break, some simulations will be 3 weeks at a time. Posteason sims will be one day sims every day, while the World Series will be live.
Drafts
At MML, we will have one draft. The Amateur will be live in our league Chatroom. If you are unable to be present for a draft, you can submit your requests via e-mail. The Ammy draft will be during the off season before or during the free agency. The order in which drafts are determined by record. Amateur is based on the previous seasons record. The Ammy Draft will be with the new Mogul 2008 mode of Historical Rookies. You can sim to the end of the season and see which players will be in the upcoming draft. (TIP: Hold escape when the computer asks for negotiating contracts)
Incentive Points
Incentive points, can be earned by giving livelyhood to your team. This can be done by player interviews(with Jim Rome) writing stories, events, etc. The more activity you do will give you more points. More points will also be awarded for more thorough and well thought out articles. These points can be exchanged for cash, stadium upgrades.
Free Agency
Free Agency is a very important part of your teams success. Free Agency will be conducted in the off-season. The MML Free Agency has a different twist in Free Agency. Their will be two different blocks of free agents. One will be for position players, where only position players can be bid on. The other will be of pitchers, where only pitchers can be bid on. Free Agency will be performed on the Leagues Message Board. In order to bid on a player you must place a bid on the page with the players name in the subject. Then in the message, post how many years you would like to sign him and for how long. In the event that there are two contracts close to the same bid, I will ask both bidding teams to submitt a FINAL/MAX bid. I will then select the team that offers a contract that I feel best benefits the player. Note that the winning bid may not necessarily be the highest (most money) bid.

In Order for the player to sign with your team. you must be the last post for a period of 24 hours. RULE ADDITION: If you offer a contract of longer than 4 years it must be atleast $750,000 per year.
